Christian Clients
I specifically received my masters from Fuller Theological Seminary because of their focus on integration of Christian faith with exemplary psychological practices. I do not believe the two stand in opposition, but rather that God has ordained even those who do not know Him (the psychological community is the most atheistic of all the sciences) as instruments in bringing about emotional and spiritual healing. He is, after all, the author of compassion, love, empathy, grace, emotional maturity, wisdom, forgiveness, grief, restoration, etc. …
“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love…” Philippians 2:1-2
I particularly enjoy working with clients who desire to integrate their faith into our work together. That can take on many forms and I will always honor my client’s wishes and comfort level in the process. It is my prayer that in our work you will experience the deep comfort and wonder of Jehovah Rapha – the LORD who heals – and that “being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints the depth, width, breadth, and height and to know the love of God in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 3:18)
